I was scanning through the manga when I found the flashback that Chouji has to when he and Shikamaru were little kids, and I realised I'd never drawn either of them before, so I gave it a go.
I love the relationship between these two, it's such a solid friendship and they have a real strong bond with each other, unlike the other rivalry frienships that are so dominant in the manga.
I'm really pleased how Chouji turned out, I'v never done him before and he looks really cute, I used a referance from the manga, and I had to re-create that adorable little face when he smiles back at his daddy.
Done with a mouse in Open Canvas 3, and I plan to colour it in Photoshop 7 (when I get it installed again). Also I have no scanner at my disposal so mouse sketches is all your going to get for a while X3
